Exchange to Japan - A complicated arrival

   Hello everybody,

Once again, it's been a pretty long since the last time I wrote anything here. Today I would like to tell you about everything that has happened since I came to Japan in August, and in English this time !

Yes, those are traditional clothes from Korea...
You will understand why.
Just before that, my boyfriend came to France to spend the month with my family and I, travelling mostly France, but also Spain and Germany. On August 22nd, we left Paris, and had a transfer in Seoul.
If you have been following me on IG, you might know that I have a very very bad luck... and you know what ? Arriving to Korea, we quickly walked to the gate from which we were supposed to departure, and we saw this :

It was around 1-2pm. We asked the staff what we should do, and they told us we had to go to the counter of our airline. And so we did. The people here told us we could either stay in the airport, or leave for a while, knowing that the next plane was at 8am the next morning. We decided to leave, and to find a hotel. So, this is with our 4 enormous and very heavy suitcases that we went out, and ended up in a hotel in Incheon.

As you can see, the view we had from it was pretty wonderful (even though the landscape suffered from a typhoon a while ago), and I was the happiest for being able to stay in this country for one night ! It has been a long time since I wanted to travel to South Korea, and even though it was a (very) short trip, my boyfriend and I had a walk around, and... I took so many pictures...

When we stopped at the convenience store (which is very similar to the Japanese ones), I could find those. Last year, while I was studying in Lille, I used to meet up with Marie, from Le Monde de Gulia, to eat the snack boxes from South Korea that she was ordering each month, and I completely fell in love with those snacks!

Anyways, we spent the night there, which was quite funny/embarrassing, because the bathroom's walls were actually made in opaque glass through which you could still see (and hear) the other going to toilets...

Isn't he cute like that ? ^^
We left again, early in the morning, to, this time, finally get in the flight that brought us to Nagoya !

This was my (pretty chaotic) arrival to Japan ! I have a lot of final exams during the next 2 weeks, but I'll try to tell you more about the beginning of my exchange year. Don't forget to subscribe to my Instagram account if you want frequent updates, because I am way much more active there.

Don't forget either to leave your opinion in the comments, and to tell me if you like this format of articles !
